I would just like to say how much I enjoy your blog. I check in every couple of weeks to see how it's going. Crazy as it sounds, we seems to live in a strangely parallel universe. I had an insane dog 14 yrs. (even took her valuim once on a bad flight),things I touch blow up, and the reason I'm commenting, my old girl the hot rod olds went to the grave yard (in my driveway 18 mos. ago) just let her sit cause I couldn't send her away. This last week I made the decision to bring her back to life, give her the parts she needs even though what she needs costs more than she's worth. 17 yrs. I sped through life in her, my ass fits lovingly in the driver seat. I want to recapture that feeling of being alive, youthful and full of hopes and dreams. Thats the menopause talking I know, but if my guy can go through a mid-life crisis so can I! Thank You so much for sharing your prose it always gives me a smile and more often than not takes me back to my own experiences in life. When your in the thick of it seems stressful but in reflection I'm thankful for all the crazy's I've met, all the lightbulbs and small appliances I've taken out with one touch, my nutbag dog, my great guy, my truely cool car, and of course making soap, and yeah fairy tales screwed up my life for a bit in the beginning till I figured out what a crock it is to be fed that crap as a child. Speaking of kids what strange little creature's they are, scared of that! Thank You again for the smiles.
